Victoria Warren is a media relations manager at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute where she works with healthcare reporters interested in cancer, using her storytelling and extensive television news experience to highlight the Institute’s leading expertise in research and care. Her placements have appeared on every major television network and in every top-tier newspaper, both nationally and globally.

Prior to joining Dana-Farber, Victoria worked as a television news reporter for 20 years. A New York City Native, she started her career in Topeka, KS and made stops in Oregon, Nebraska, and Florida before joining WHDH-TV in Boston in 2006. She attended Northwestern University (Chicago) and received a BS in journalism. Her reporting career highlights include covering the September 11th terrorist attacks, NASA’s return to flight after the Columbia Space Shuttle disaster, the Boston Marathon Bombings, the arrest and trial of Whitey Bulger as well as the arrest and murder trial of form New England Patriot’s player Aaron Hernandez.

Since joining Dana-Farber, she’s enjoyed launching a digital storytelling initiative specifically focused on promoting research and science. She produces news videos that to date, have reached more than 3 million people on various social media platforms.
